The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and indicates the conductor thickness of the copper wire. AWG36 corresponds to a conductor cross-section of 0.0127 mm². UTP - Unscreened/Unshielded Twisted-Pair cable. UTP cables consist of a plastic sheath containing the unshielded, twisted pairs of wires. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter and are easy to handle and install. These are the most widely used cables for Ethernet LANs worldwide. Category 6/6a/6e. Cat 6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and are often used in professional settings. At longer lengths, transmission speed may suffer, but short extensions are generally acceptable depending on external influences.
