The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and indicates the conductor thickness of the copper wire. AWG36 corresponds to a conductor cross-section of 0.0127 mm². UTP - Unscreened/Unshielded Twisted Pair cable. UTP cables consist of a plastic sheath containing unshielded, twisted pairs of wires. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter and are easy to handle and install. They are the most commonly used cables for Ethernet LANs worldwide. Category 6/6a/6e. Cat 6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and are often used in professional settings.
