Wirewin® Category 6A patch cables meet the specifications according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2, enabling data transmission of up to 10 GBit/s. The Category 6A is specified for 500 MHz. The cable for these patch cables is double-shielded. Each pair is enclosed in its own foil shielding, with an additional braided shielding on top. This construction is often referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made from halogen-free material, making it flame-resistant. Yellow Category 6A RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts are protected by a special Wirewin® strain relief sleeve, which safeguards the connector while allowing for easy pressing. There is a length print on the underside of the sleeve. All Wirewin® KAT6A patch cables are equipped with this feature!
