The set includes five 6-liter pressing cloths for the fruit press.
The pressing cloths are washable up to 60 °C and designed for the maximum capacity of the fruit press of 6 liters.
Please note the instructions for using the berry press: Depending on the mash (finely crushed fruit), a proper pressing process can be quick and easy.
Each type of fruit requires its own preparation method.
Grapes should be crushed beforehand, which can be done with a fruit mill or by hand. Pome fruits must be pitted beforehand. The amount of juice yield naturally depends on the water content of the fruit and not on the effort of the operator. With proper preparation of the fruit, it can be pressed easily with one hand.
With all presses of this type, it is not possible to press whole fruits. A mash (finely crushed fruit) must be made; otherwise, a successful pressing process is not possible.
A wine or fruit press cannot be compared to a juicer. The two products operate completely differently. For example, grapes cannot be processed in a juicer because the seeds are crushed and bitter substances are released. Only with a fruit press do the seeds remain intact, allowing the juice to be processed into wine.
Apples, pears, and other types of fruit must be processed into mash before pressing. Whole, halved, and quartered fruits cannot be pressed. Spindle presses are not designed for that.
