Wiltec Professional Single-Phase Copper Electric Motor Double-Pole 230 V 1.5 kW with Copper Wire Coil

This single-phase copper electric motor (asynchronous motor) is designed for driving compressors with an intake capacity of up to approximately 350 l/min. With a power output of 1.5 kW, the copper electric motor achieves speeds of 2850 revolutions per minute. The robust housing is made of aluminum.

The operating capacitor starts the motor with an electrical capacity of 35 µF. The role of the operating capacitor is not only to initiate the motor but also to ensure smooth power delivery and rotation in the correct direction. If higher power is required, a starting capacitor of up to 200 µF can be connected in parallel during the startup phase. Such an increase in total capacity is necessary, for example, for compressors or floor sanding machines. Once the motor is up to speed, the starting capacitor is switched off. Additionally, the motor features integrated overload protection.

The copper electric motor with an IP55 protection class is suitable for both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. A direction change is possible by re-wiring with a separate connection. The shaft has a diameter of 19 mm.
