Weller solder tips meet the latest market requirements and have been developed and tested at the Weller Research and Development Center in Germany. Weller solder tips feature a high-quality copper core that efficiently transfers heat to the solder joints. The copper core is coated with an iron-containing layer to extend the lifespan of the solder tip. The solder tip is tinned to prevent oxidation. All parts are protected by a corrosion-resistant nickel coating. The tip is also protected with a special chrome coating that limits the wetting area for greater accuracy.
