These XNT solder tips from Weller are high-quality solder tips designed for use with the Weller WXP 65 or WP 65 soldering iron. Weller solder tips meet the latest market requirements and have been developed and tested at the Weller Research and Development Center in Germany. Weller solder tips consist of a high-quality copper core that efficiently transfers heat to the solder joints. The copper core is coated with an iron-containing layer to extend the life of the solder tip. The solder tip is tinned to prevent oxidation. All parts are protected by a corrosion-resistant nickel coating. The tip is also protected with a special chrome coating that limits the wetting area for greater accuracy.
