Product details
The Raspberry Pi is very powerful in most cases, but it is not very good at generating precise PWM signals. For this reason, Waveshare developed this Servo Driver HAT, allowing you to easily implement projects like a robotic arm, robot, or hexapod using servos. Generating the PWM signal for the servos is a breeze with the Servo HAT, and you can control up to 16 servos with the Raspberry Pi. Since the driver is addressable, you can control up to 64 servos with four Servo Driver HATs.
Features:
- Supports Jetson Nano
- Version: B with horizontal pin headers
- Compatible with Raspberry Pi A+/B+/2B/3B/3B+/3B++/Zero/4
- Easy control via I2C, using only 2 pins
- Up to 16-channel servo/PWM outputs, 12-bit resolution for each channel
- Integrated 5V regulator, up to 3A output current, can be powered from the battery via the VIN terminal (6V to 12V)
- Standard servo interface, supports common servos like SG90, MG90S, MG996R, etc.
- Programming examples for Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano available in Python
