Product details
This is a 1.02-inch e-Paper display module from Waveshare with an integrated controller. The module communicates via the SPI interface. The e-Ink display consumes extremely low power as it operates without a backlight. Therefore, the module only draws power when the image changes. This is particularly suitable for applications where the same information is displayed for extended periods, such as price tags or storage shelves. Updating the entire display takes 2 seconds. Due to its extremely low power consumption, it is ideal for battery-operated applications. The package also includes a connection cable, allowing you to easily connect the display to a Raspberry Pi.
Features:
- Extremely low power consumption
- Displays on the screen remain intact even without power supply
- Ultra-low power usage; power is primarily needed only for refreshing
- SPI interface for connection to controller boards like Raspberry Pi or Arduino
- Onboard level shifter, making it compatible with 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers
