With the EQP-WA, Warm Audio presents a lovingly crafted replica of arguably the most famous and sought-after tube equalizer in studio history, the Pultec EQP-1A. The EQP-WA not only matches the classic Pultec device in appearance and feel but also delivers the sound of the classic through the use of high-quality components such as CineMag transformers and premium tubes. This completely discrete tube EQ has an exhilarating effect: individual tracks or entire mixes gain a brilliance and sheen that are hard to achieve in the box. The classic operating concept has, of course, been retained but subtly modernized. The EQ can be bypassed to send the signal only through the tubes and transformers, and 5 additional frequency points compared to the original provide greater versatility in application.
