The adapter, which is lightweight for the robust and large 402 g version, has many useful details. For example, a 2-piece spigot adapter is included in the scope of delivery, which has both a 1/4 inch and a 3/8 inch threaded pin. Furthermore, both spigot adapters can be fixed with corresponding levers/adjustment screws, so that tripod and also flash unit are mounted absolutely tight and safe.
