The spot attachment is particularly well-suited for product photography or as an effect light in portrait photography. You can also use it as an accentuating background or highlight light. It focuses your light so that you can selectively illuminate your subjects. The honeycomb insert provides a more directed light output, and the included color filters (red, blue, yellow, and green) offer a wide range of creative possibilities for effects and color variations due to their combinability.
The walimex pro Universal System Flash Holder is ideal for attaching a spot attachment with a VC or Aurora/Bowens connection, but it is also suitable for smaller beauty dishes, smaller softboxes, etc. It fits flash units ranging in size from Nikon SB 24 to 28DX, Nikon SB 600 and 800, Canon 420/430EX, 440/580EX, Minolta 5400, as well as similarly sized models. The holder can be easily attached to all standard tripods.
