Ingeniously Simple Setup
No more uncomfortable handling of poles and individual parts: The Quick Assemble "QA" softboxes from the Walimex pro Studio Line can be set up very quickly and easily, as their name suggests, and can also be taken down and stored just as quickly after use. This is the ideal solution not only for photographers who need to quickly create space in the studio after a shoot but also for those who want to use the Deep Rota Softbox for outdoor portrait sessions. Folded up and stored in the spacious carrying bag, the complete Deep Rota Softbox, including the softbox adapter, inner and outer diffuser, and honeycomb grid, is so compact that it fits into any setup and is always on hand. To set it up, simply place the folded softbox with the speed ring/softbox adapter facing down on the ground and open the Deep Rota Softbox like an umbrella until the mount clicks into place audibly and tangibly in the umbrella pole. Then, turn the assembled softbox so that the speed ring is on top and secure the fabric to the four longitudinal Velcro strips – this ensures everything is taut, preventing any unwanted flash light from escaping sideways.
