Ingeniously Simple Setup
No more cumbersome handling of poles and individual parts: The Quick Assemble "QA" softboxes from the Walimex pro Studio Line can be set up very quickly and easily, as their name suggests, and of course can be just as quickly disassembled and stored after use. This makes them the ideal solution not only for photographers who need to quickly clear space in the studio after a shoot but also for those who want to use the Deep Rota Softbox for outdoor portrait sessions. When folded and stored in the spacious carrying bag, the entire Deep Rota Softbox, including the softbox adapter, inner and outer diffuser, and honeycomb grid, is compact enough to fit into any setup, ensuring it is always on hand. To set it up, simply place the folded softbox on the ground with the speed ring/softbox adapter facing down and open the Deep Rota Softbox like an umbrella until the holder clicks audibly and tangibly into place in the umbrella pole. Then, turn the assembled softbox over so that the speed ring is on top, and secure the covering to the four longitudinally arranged Velcro strips/tabs – this ensures everything is taut and prevents any unwanted flash light from escaping sideways.
