The optics do not have a selectable aperture: the maximum possible opening is always available, and the optics are corrected for this, delivering their highest performance without being diminished by light diffraction at the aperture blades. The attached 360° rotatable tripod mount allows for balanced attachment to a tripod and switching between portrait and landscape orientation. Save time in post-processing. Many lens errors such as distortion, edge softness, or vignetting occur in the outer areas of the image. When using a lens designed for full frame on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not utilized. This way, you achieve maximum quality, eliminating the need for additional post-processing time to correct lens errors.
