The lens delivers optimal results even in low light conditions, thanks to its very high aperture of 1:1.5. The lenses optimized for videography feature a stepless aperture. Both the aperture and focus rings are equipped with a gear, making them suitable for use with a follow focus system. A particularly high-quality optical design made of 8 multi-coated glass elements achieves outstanding imaging results. Additionally, 3 aspherical lenses ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations. A lens hood prevents side light and lens reflections and can be removed if necessary. The lens is internally focusing, which means that the length of the lens does not change. Focusing is manual, allowing for precise sharpness adjustment.
