The walimex pro 12/2.2 VCSC, with a focal length of 12 mm, is perfect for expressive landscape, architecture, art, and nude photography thanks to its wide angle. The high light intensity allows for very good exposure times even in unfavorable lighting conditions for optimal shots. Focusing and aperture adjustment are done manually. The minimum focusing distance is 20 cm. This lens is designed for system cameras.

Excellent image quality thanks to multi-coated lens surfaces and nano coating. Great emphasis has been placed on optimal lens construction for outstanding imaging performance. All 12 glass lenses are multi-coated, preventing reflections and allowing more light to reach the image. Additionally, the coating achieves better contrast and more brilliant color reproduction. The reduction of reflections is further supported by a nano coating. Two of the 12 lenses are aspherical, ensuring optimal correction of spherical image errors. Furthermore, one lens is made of ED glass, which optimally corrects chromatic aberrations.

The wide-angle lens is designed for system cameras and impresses with its extremely low weight and compact design. At the same time, the metal housing is very robust.
