The VC 871 from the VC-800 reference series offers impressive features and exclusively includes a measurement adapter for protective contact sockets. It measures active power, apparent power, phase shift, voltage, current, and frequency of sockets and connected consumers. The TFT display is sharp, customizable, and sensational. It features an angle-independent color display with outstanding contrast, which can be presented either positively (dark digits on a light background) or negatively (Night Mode) depending on the lighting conditions.

With a reading accuracy of 60,000 counts and a basic measurement accuracy of ± 0.08%, this handheld multimeter belongs to the upper class, typically reserved for laboratory bench devices. The groundbreaking magnet technology ensures that both hands remain free for the measurement probes. Extra-strong neodymium magnets are integrated into the housing, providing secure attachment to the control cabinet door, so the device no longer needs to be placed on the floor during measurements. For measurement tasks on construction sites, one of the measurement probes can be magnetically fixed to the multimeter.

The special measurement probes with integrated ferromagnetic material adhere securely to the multimeter but not to the control cabinet. A measurement probe along with the multimeter forms a unit in one hand, while the other measurement probe can be directed to the second measurement point in the other hand.

The fantastic flexible measurement leads consist of a silicone coating executed in two layers and colors with a wear indicator, contributing to flexibility. The extremely fine-stranded wire construction, which is twisted with highly flexible and tear-resistant plastic fiber for mechanical reinforcement, greatly enhances flexibility.
