The VC-831 SE (Special Edition) is available in a limited edition while supplies last. It is 100% identical to the standard model VC-831. The TFT display is sharp, customizable, and sensational. It features an angle-independent color display with outstanding contrast, which can be presented in both positive (dark digits on a light background) and negative (Night Mode) depending on the lighting conditions.

The groundbreaking magnetic technology allows both hands to be free for the measurement probes. Extra strong neodymium magnets are integrated into the housing, providing a secure hold on the control cabinet door, so the device no longer needs to be placed on the ground while measuring. For measurement tasks on construction sites, one of the measurement probes can be magnetically fixed to the multimeter. Special measurement probes with integrated ferromagnetic material adhere securely and firmly to the multimeter, but not to the control cabinet. One measurement probe together with the multimeter forms a unit in one hand, while the other measurement probe can be directed to the second measurement point in the other hand.

The fantastic flexible measuring leads consist of a silicone coating executed in two layers and colors with a wear indicator, contributing to flexibility. The extremely fine stranded wire structure, which is twisted with highly flexible and tear-resistant plastic fiber for mechanical reinforcement, greatly increases flexibility. VOLTCRAFT is now introducing this technology into mass production of multimeters for the first time.

Many functions are individually configurable. The automatic shut-off can be set to 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes, or it can remain always on. The backlighting for buttons and rotary switches can be individually adjusted or turned off completely. The beep sound when changing measurement ranges can be turned on or off, or its volume can be reduced. The LoZ function allows for measuring AC voltages with low impedance.
