Voltcraft VC171 Digital Multimeter

The Voltcraft Hand Multimeter VC 171 is your multimeter for electrical and electronic measurement tasks in the compact VC 100 series.

Delta Measurement: For measuring deviations from a specified value. This allows you to focus on positive and negative changes without constantly calculating.

Duty Cycle: Also known as the duty ratio, it allows you to determine the percentage value between ON (pulse) and OFF in phase control, switch-mode power supplies, and other digitally switched devices.

Sharp Display: Impressive, clearly readable EBTN display in bright environments as well as in darkness. With a 5.6 cm (2.2 inch) diagonal, all digits and symbols are displayed significantly larger, reducing reading errors.

Display and Button Protection: Discreetly integrated edges protect the display, rotary switch, and all buttons. A meticulously produced two-component housing with integrated soft rubber protection not only provides grip but also protects the measuring device during tougher applications.

Tilt-proof: The wide soft rubber base provides significantly more stability when the stand is extended.

Non-slip: Whether lying down or standing with connected measuring leads, the device stays in position. When stored without measuring leads, the rubberized edge protection prevents slipping even when the device is lying on the display side.

Flashlight Function: The built-in LED light makes it easier to find your way to the fuse box in the dark.

Non-contact Voltage Detection: An NCV sensor is integrated into the front of the housing. It detects the electromagnetic field generated by a live wire. This allows you to locate the position that causes a break in a crushed extension cord, for example.
