Voltcraft VC151 Digital Multimeter

The Voltcraft Hand Multimeter VC 151 is your universal multimeter for a variety of measurement tasks and replaces its predecessors (VC-155 and VC-165). The device features automatic range selection and temperature measurement with a K-Type sensor. Additionally, it includes a battery tester for 1.5 V, 9 V, and 12 V batteries.

The impressive, clearly readable EBTN display is easy to read in both bright environments and darkness. With a display diagonal of 5.6 cm (2.2 inches), all digits and symbols are presented significantly larger, reducing the risk of reading errors.

Discreetly integrated edges protect the display, rotary switch, and all buttons. A meticulously crafted 2-component housing with integrated soft rubber protection not only provides a secure grip but also protects the measuring device during tougher applications.

The wide soft rubber base ensures significantly more stability when the stand is extended. The device remains in position both lying down and standing up with connected measurement leads. When stored without measurement leads, the rubber edge protection prevents slipping even when the device is placed on its display side.

The built-in LED light makes it easier to navigate in the dark to the fuse box. An NCV sensor is integrated into the front of the housing, which detects the electromagnetic field generated by a live wire. This allows you to locate the position that leads to a break in a pinched extension cord, even through the insulation.

The TrueRMS measurement capability allows for accurate measurement of asymmetrical voltages and currents that deviate from the fundamental form of the sine wave.
