Voltcraft Current clamp

Clamp meter for non-intrusive current measurement. The clamp meter allows for contactless alternating current measurement. The advantage of this measurement method is the clamping function, which enables current measurements to be carried out without the usual shutdown and disconnection of the circuit. This effectively avoids system downtime.

Multimeter functions. The VC-740 E clamp meter features integrated safety measurement sockets. With the included safety measurement leads, many conventional measurement tasks can be performed with the clamp instead of a multimeter. Whether measuring voltage, resistance, or performing diode tests - with these measurement functions, the clamp meter serves as a fully functional multimeter.

Tough and durable. A two-component housing with a surrounding soft rubber protection shields the measuring device from all sides, as well as the display from damage when dropped on hard surfaces. It can withstand falls from heights of up to 2 meters without any issues. Its rubberized casing also makes it very easy to grip.

Protection against dust accumulation and splashing water (IP54). Thanks to the IP54 protection class, the Voltcraft clamp meters in the VC-700 series are protected against the ingress of harmful amounts of dust and splashing water from all sides. They can be used and stored in high-humidity environments such as industrial sites, machine rooms, and not entirely dry garages without any problems.

Non-slip when lying down with integrated display protection. The VOLTCRAFT VC-700 series maintains a non-slip contact with the surface due to its rubberized front. Additionally, display damage is effectively prevented by the protruding rubber coating.
