Fast, aspherical 40 mm full-frame lens for Nikon Z-mount. The optical construction consists of eight elements in six groups, two of which are double-sided aspherical elements. Despite its compact size, the lens achieves an amazingly large aperture of F1.2. The manual focus lens has been specially optimised for the image sensor of Nikon Z models. As a result, the very popular 40mm focal length in the previous Voigtländer range can now finally be used on Nikon Z models.

Measured against Nikon mirrorless, 46 MP, KB: 770 euros is the price of the fast fixed focal length with Nikon mount. At aperture 1.2, the values for the centre of the image are OK, but it could do with a little more contrast. In addition, there is a clear fall-off at the edges...
