VLVWIP2000-ENC and VLVWIP2000-DEC are based on JPEG2000 technology. They integrate copper and fiber ports within a single box. Encoder input supports up to 4K60 4:4:4, with audio embedding or extraction. Decoder output supports up to 4K60 4:4:4, with audio extraction. The product supports ARC/eARC/S/PDIF/Analog audio return functions, as well as USB2.0/KVM/Camera, 1G Ethernet, bidirectional RS-232, two-way IR, and PoE functions. Guest mode controls for RS-232, IR, and CEC are supported. It features built-in two-channel relay ports and two-channel I/O ports for contact control. Dante AV-A mode is supported if the product is license activated. The built-in MJPEG substream supports numerous API commands for flexible configurations, making it useful for third-party control apps to preview video content. The system is based on Linux for software development and provides flexible control methods based on intelligent networking of 1G Ethernet switches. It requires a layer 3 1G managed network switch supporting IGMP snooping and 8K jumbo frames. With the PoE function, it is also possible to power the unit without a PSU.
