25 cm (10") high-end woofer. The extra-wide rubber surround, long voice coil, and particularly large magnet system allow for extreme excursions. The multiple ventilation of the voice coil (pole core drilling, holes in the pole plate, openings in the aluminum die-cast basket for back ventilation of the centering) minimizes losses and airflow noise. The voice coil former made of Kapton and the long voice coil enable very high loads. The diaphragm is a sandwich construction made of fiberglass layers and polyester fabric, making it particularly low in resonance. These design details result in high level stability and excellent deep bass reproduction.
