Product details

State-of-the-Art D/A Converter, Preamplifier, and Headphone Amplifier. The Violectric V590² is the new flagship device in the Violectric lineup. It features a state-of-the-art D/A converter and an equally advanced headphone amplifier. The D/A converter is a new development utilizing the ESS-Tech ES9026 PRO chip. This 32-bit converter includes four parallel D/A converters per channel and offers a dynamic range of 124 dB with a THD+N of -110 dB. The headphone amplifier incorporates the latest findings from the multiple award-winning designs of Violectric and Niimbus. Most functions can be conveniently controlled via a remote control. The Violectric DHA V590 II, thanks to its unparalleled technology, not only provides one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market but also features minimal noise due to very low internal gain. This makes the amplifier's own noise virtually inaudible. It delivers high output voltage with a 50-volt internal operating voltage, making it ideal for high-impedance headphones. The high output power comes from robust amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones require. Therefore, it is also well-suited for low-impedance headphones and magnetostatic models. With a high damping factor due to the lowest output impedance, it is perfectly capable of driving even the most challenging headphones without interference, guaranteeing uncompromised frequency response.
