Product details
D/A converter, symmetrical headphone amplifier, and preamplifier. The Violectric DHA V226 is a new device in the Violectric lineup featuring a powerful D/A converter, a strong symmetrical headphone amplifier, and preamplifier functionality. The D/A converter is a new development using the Cirrus converter CS43131. This 32-bit converter offers a typical dynamic range of 130 dB with a THD+N of -115 dB. It supports PCM signals up to 32-bit and 384 kHz as well as DSD 256. The headphone amplifier is an evolution of the multiple award-winning HPA V200, V280, and V281. It delivers the unparalleled natural and pleasant sound that made its predecessors famous. The DHA V226, with its unmatched technology, not only offers one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market but also features minimal noise due to very low internal amplification. As a result, the amplifier's self-noise is inaudible. It provides high output voltage with a 50-volt internal operating voltage, making it ideal for high-impedance headphones. The high output power comes from robust amplifiers that can deliver far more power than even the most demanding headphones require. Therefore, it is also well-suited for low-impedance headphones and planar magnetic models. The high damping factor, due to the lowest output impedance, ensures it can drive even the most challenging headphones without interference, guaranteeing uncompromised frequency response.
