Veracity Highwire Network Media Converter

Highwire transforms any analog video cable into a high-speed network connection, allowing analog cameras to be replaced with IP cameras without the need for new cabling to be installed. By simply connecting a single Highwire at each end of the coaxial cable, the connection is automatically established without any configuration required. Highwire can provide a full-duplex 100BASE-T network connection without bandwidth limitations over 500 meters of RG-11 cable or over 280 meters of RG-59 cable in CCTV quality. The Highwire connection is invisible to Ethernet data and does not require a MAC or IP address; to the camera, the connection appears like any other network cable. Due to its compact size, it can even be mounted inside a camera housing. Veracity's optional wall mounts and a rack-mount kit are available if needed. Highwire can be powered by standard 12-volt DC or 24-volt AC power supplies. The connection is made via a removable screw terminal, with the type and polarity of the power supply automatically detected.
