The Laowa Nanomorph 27 mm T2.8 1.5X S35 is an innovative anamorphic wide-angle lens specifically designed for use with Arri PL and Canon EF cameras. With a unique 1.5x horizontal image compression ratio, this lens allows for the creation of an impressive aspect ratio of 2.4:1 on a 16:9 matrix. It is the smallest anamorphic lens that covers the Super 35 sensor and offers a minimum focusing distance of just 43 cm, opening up creative possibilities in image composition. The construction includes 15 lenses in 13 groups, ensuring high optical performance. Additionally, the lens produces characteristic horizontal flares and oval bokeh effects that are highly valued in film production.
