Product details
Laowa 7.5mm T2.9 Zero-D S35 Cine is the widest rectilinear prime lens available in the Super35 market, covering a 123° angle of view. It produces high-quality images with zero distortion and minimal chromatic aberration, saving filmmakers significant effort in post-production. The non-dome-shaped front element allows for 77mm screw-in filters, making filming more convenient.
With a large aperture of T2.9, the Laowa 7.5mm T2.9 Zero-D S35 Cine is suitable for low-light situations and provides control over depth of field, making it ideal for shooting in limited spaces or for establishing shots.
The zero distortion feature enables cinematographers to maintain straight lines, resulting in impressive image quality. This design is particularly useful for architectural, aerial, and indoor footage.
The optical design consists of 16 elements in 10 groups, including 2 ED and 2 aspherical glasses, which effectively minimize chromatic aberration. It renders outstanding and sharp images, significantly reducing post-production time.
With a relatively short focusing distance of 25cm (9.84 inches), this lens is perfect for focusing on close subjects while achieving a strong background bokeh effect.
Weighing less than 1.4 lb (610g) and measuring 3.17 inches (80.7mm) long, the Laowa 7.5mm T2.9 Zero-D S35 Cine is lightweight, compact, and easily transportable. It fits seamlessly onto any stabilization system, including handheld gimbals. The non-dome-shaped front element allows for direct attachment of 77mm screw-in filters, enhancing user-friendliness, especially for aerial cinematography.
