Velbon Videomate 638

Videomate 638, a video tripod from Velbon with an attractive price-performance ratio. The three-section tripod features the leg construction of the current EX series, which offers high stability and low vibration due to its special design, further supported by the optimized middle brace. The clamp locks are ergonomically shaped to ensure easy and comfortable setup and takedown. With the notched and additionally clampable center column, the optimal working height can be precisely adjusted even after setup. The cross joint includes a center column crank and a locking screw, as well as a degree scale for panoramic panning and a bubble level. The lower center column can also be locked, ensuring that the upper column sits precisely and firmly. The legs end with a non-slip rubber foot. The Videomate is equipped with a fluid-damped video tilt head and a quick-release plate unit. The well-known fluid-damped head PH-368 is used as the video head.
