The VARIA Uniboot patch cables with fiber optic (LWL) are used wherever fast and reliable data transmission is required. With a small cable diameter of just 2.4 mm, these cables offer a particularly high packing density and save space compared to conventional fiber optic patch cables. The high-quality materials and color-coded strain reliefs at the connectors ensure durability and additional protection.

Uniboot design with release tab
In the Uniboot version, both fiber optic conductors run together in a single cable sheath and share the same bend protection. As a result, Uniboot LWL patch cables require up to 50% less space than classic duplex variants, depending on the cable diameter. The integrated release tab on the connectors allows for easy disconnection, even in patch panels with high port density.
