The VARIA Uniboot patch cables for fiber optic (LWL) are used wherever fast and reliable data transmission is essential. With a small cable diameter of just 2.4 mm, these cables also offer a very high packing density, making them more space-efficient than conventional fiber optic patch cables.

Uniboot design with release tab / extractor lever: In the Uniboot version, both fiber optic conductors run together in a single cable sheath and share the same bend protection. This reduces the space requirement by up to 50% compared to classic duplex variants, depending on the cable diameter. The integrated release tab (extractor lever) on the connectors allows for easy disconnection of the plugs, even in patch panels with high port density.
