This adapter allows you to either mirror or extend the display of a device with a USB Type-C connection to a DisplayPort-capable monitor, or connect a display device with a USB Type-C connection to the DisplayPort output of a PC or laptop - each supporting a maximum resolution of 8K@60Hz. It is a bidirectional adapter between USB 3.1 Type-C and DisplayPort for MacBook, Ultrabook, notebook, or PC - it can be used in both directions. Connections: DisplayPort plug and Type-C socket. When converting from USB Type-C to DisplayPort, support for DP Alternate Mode on the source side is essential. No additional power supply is required. Max resolution: 7680 x 4320 @60Hz. Also supports 3840 x 2160 @144Hz.
