Valeo Beep and Park

The Valeo Beep and Park Kit 3 parking assistance system helps you park safely and comfortably. The package includes 4 sensors for installation at the rear and 4 for the front. The paintable sensors ensure an optimal and uniform detection range and are connected to the control unit via a wiring harness. A high-resolution LCD screen displays the distance to obstacles. The system features 8 ultrasonic sensors for front and rear installation to optimally detect obstacles. The sensors are activated as soon as the reverse gear is engaged. The front sensors are activated for 30 seconds when the vehicle is started and remain active for 8 to 20 seconds each time the brake pedal is released, depending on the selected setting. Perfect acoustic signal: The acoustic alarm gradually increases. It starts with a single tone and becomes more continuous as the vehicle approaches within 30 cm of the obstacle. The system detects obstacles between 10 cm and 170 cm from the vehicle. The distance to the obstacle and its exact position are displayed on the LCD screen. The screen can be mounted on the dashboard or above the rearview mirror. The distance to the obstacle is indicated to the driver in warning levels of green, yellow, and red. The system measures obstacles in meters or inches. A diagnostic function automatically detects faulty or poorly secured sensors. The display alerts the driver in case of a defective sensor.
