In the design and development of the OpenScape Desk Phone CP TDM phone family, customer feedback has been incorporated into the existing product portfolio, and specific features have been intentionally improved. The development of the new phone family aims for perfect integration into office workplaces that expect a professional tool for their communication needs.

The new and more intuitive user interfaces feature LEDs in the function keys for a clearer representation of statuses. There is significantly improved visibility of the LED lighting on the function keys, even in bright ambient light. The mechanical toggle switch is robust and provides haptic feedback. The concave shape of the keys ensures a clearer, enhanced pressure point. A stable and adjustable base allows the phones to be positioned at a flat or steep angle.

Both models of the OpenScape Desk Phone CP TDM family offer a USB interface (USB-Slave) for using PC applications via 1st Party CTI. Additionally, both models provide a headset connection with DHSG/EHS functionality.
