Ubiquiti's UVC-G3-Bullet weatherproof network camera offers full HD 1080p day and night resolution. It is easy to operate and manage with Unifi video software. A ball-joint mount provides flexible 3-axis adjustment, allowing the camera to be mounted in locations from which another camera would not provide usable images. See what's going on in the camera's surveillance area day and night: the model is equipped with a day/night function that uses IR cut filters. While the filter filters out disturbing infrared light from the recording during the day when it is bright enough, it automatically turns off when darkness sets in and remains inactive during the night. This makes infrared light visible on the video recording, allowing you to see things that would otherwise be hidden in the dark. Visibility is further enhanced by infrared LED illumination: This way, the detection area is illuminated without an intruder being able to notice it. The network camera is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power supply cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices in hard-to-reach places or in areas where a lot of cables would interfere. You save installation costs and, if desired, you can increase the reliability of the connected devices by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
