As expected from Two Notes, the manufacturer once again makes a clear statement with the successor to the VB-101, the Torpedo Studio.
The new Torpedo Studio is the benchmark for capturing your guitar or bass amp. A 150W RMS loadbox transmits the amp signal to two powerful processors, which add a cabinet and microphone per channel. If that’s not enough, you can further enhance the signal with a low-cut filter, 5-band EQ, exciter, and compressor—just like in a professional recording studio.
Compared to its predecessor, the VB-101, the Torpedo Studio now finally allows for stereo miking in addition to dual mono. This means that for each amp signal, two cabinets can be mixed independently with two different microphones, left and right. This opens up endless possibilities. In addition to the 50 embedded cabinets, third-party cabinets can also be used, or you can create your own impulse responses within minutes using the Two Notes software "Blend IR."
Finally, amps can be captured exactly as desired.
