TrueCam CPL filter

The polarizing filter is excellent for your car camera, as it largely neutralizes the effects of sunlight and reflections that could otherwise degrade the quality of the recording. Most importantly, the filter prevents the reflection of the vehicle's interior on the windshield.

The polarizing filter reduces glare in the recording because it mostly blocks vertically incoming sunlight. As a result, less light enters from the straight-ahead view, making the sky appear darker. The CPL filter is a practical aid for shooting in bright sunlight.
