With a powerful controller, a SATA III 6Gb/s interface, and above-average transfer speeds of up to 560 MB/s for reading and 460 MB/s for writing, the M.2 SSD can handle both everyday routine tasks and demanding multimedia applications.

Supports Intel Smart Response Technology. Transcend's SATA III 6Gb/s MTS800 M.2 SSD supports Intel® Smart Response Technology (ISRT), allowing the SSD to be used as a cache between the HDD and system memory. This provides the advantage of utilizing the maximum capacity of the HDD while still enjoying the system performance experience of an SSD.

ISRT monitors the most frequently used programs and documents and stores them on the SSD. This accelerates the loading of applications and significantly improves system response time, while all other data and programs remain stored on the HDD. In this configuration, only one drive letter is displayed. The SSD functioning as a cache does not have its own drive letter.
