The Transcend SATA III 6Gb/s mSATA SSD supports Intel Smart Response Technology (ISRT), which allows users to configure their computer with an SSD that acts as a cache between the hard drive and the memory. ISRT monitors which programs and files are accessed most frequently and stores them on the SSD. This significantly improves application startup times and overall system responsiveness, while the hard drive's storage capacity remains fully available for other programs and files. In this configuration, only one drive letter is displayed, with no additional drive letter required for the SSD used as cache.
