The new Tokina Firin 2/20 mm FE AF super wide-angle lens is now available with autofocus. The AF version of the manual Tokina Firin MF super wide-angle lens is also the second prime lens in this premium lens series for Sony E-Mount cameras. The bright Firin 2/20 mm FE MF super wide-angle lens was introduced exactly one year ago as the first model of a new premium lens series for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras with E-Mount.

Now, the Tokina Firin 2/20 mm FE AF has been launched with a modern ring-shaped ultrasonic autofocus motor as the second lens in this premium series. The optics, tailored for high-resolution Sony full-frame image sensors, are expected to impress photographers and filmmakers with their high quality, just like the manual version. The optical design of the new autofocus lens has not changed compared to the manual variant, but its external appearance has. The aperture of the AF version is now adjusted via the camera, while the manual Firin features an aperture ring with a de-click function on the lens. The design and size of the new Firin AF lens have been further adapted to fit Sony's mirrorless cameras.
