Product details
The Tokina atx-m 11-18mm F2.8 X is a super wide-angle zoom lens specifically designed for mirrorless cameras, characterized by its compact design, high light intensity, and excellent optical performance. With a constant aperture of f/2.8 and a focal length range of 11–18mm (equivalent to 16.5–27mm in full-frame format), the lens is ideal for a variety of photographic applications such as landscape photography, architecture, astrophotography, group photos, vlogging, street photography, or documentaries. Despite its wide angle of view, the body remains surprisingly compact at just 320g and a length of 74.4 mm, making it perfectly suited for mirrorless cameras with Fuji X-Mount – even for one-handed operation or use on a gimbal for video recording. The optical construction includes two aspherical lenses and two glass elements with particularly low dispersion, ensuring outstanding sharpness from edge to edge, minimal chromatic aberration, low distortion, and uniform light distribution. The nine-blade rounded diaphragm creates a particularly pleasing bokeh, while the short minimum focusing distance of just 19 cm allows for fascinating wide-angle macros with impressive depth effect. A quiet ST-M autofocus motor, combined with an integrated position sensor, ensures fast and precise focusing for both photos and videos. The lens is fully compatible with the features of modern Fujifilm cameras, including image stabilization, MF support, eye autofocus, and in-camera corrections for vignetting, chromatic aberration, and distortion. Additionally, the firmware can be conveniently updated via the integrated Micro-USB port to keep the lens up to date at all times.
