Accurate and fast AF: Precise auto focusing is actuated by a combination of the Tokina GMR sensor and SD-M (Silent Drive-Module).

One-touch focus clutch: Tokina's exclusive one-touch focus clutch mechanism allows the photographer to switch between AF and MF simply by snapping the focus ring forward for AF and back toward the lens mount for manual focusing.

Moisture protection: Additionally, the mount area is sealed, making the lens more resistant to moisture and able to withstand the rigors of daily use in a wide variety of shooting conditions and environments.
