The Tokina 11-20mm T2.9 is the ideal all-round lens for today's demanding and ever-changing digital cinema production environment. When used with modern cameras, it offers maximum versatility. The Tokina 11-20mm T2.9 is designed for modern digital cinema production with a super-wide field of view and a compact yet fully featured all-metal construction. The industry standard 95mm front ring allows for the addition of a matte box. With the Tokina Cinema Vista Lens Mount easily interchangeable from PL, EF, Sony E, MFT, and Nikon F, maximum versatility with conventional cinema and still/cinema hybrid cameras can be achieved in minutes. The parfocal optical design allows zoom racking without loss of focus. Distortion is very controllable and chromatic aberration is superbly prevented when shooting at maximum wide open. The lens design also features Super35 sensor coverage, allowing the cinematographer to respond flexibly to any changes and allowing the creative flow to be easily accommodated. The robust metal housing is equipped with 0.8 mm toothed rings, making it easy to control aperture, focus, and zoom. Several special SD (Super Low Dispersion) glass elements ensure reduced light dispersion, resulting in outstanding imaging performance and the highest image quality. Chromatic aberrations have been reduced to a minimum. The typical Tokina coating technology ensures clear images and problem-free use even with backlighting. This elaborate process reduces ghosting, internal reflections, and spillovers to a minimum.
