Assign the buttons individually to the functions that are important to you. You have 7 buttons (4 of them in the 4-way stick), two ClusterFire triggers and the eight-way hatswitch at your disposal. The 7 buttons can be individually assigned in each of the three control modes BVR, NAV and VIS. This results in up to 21 button functions (3 x 7). This allows you to intuitively change views and execute commands without taking your eyes off the screen.

The joystick is held in place by a heavy base that can even be screwed into place.
