This side plate for the Blackmagic Pyxis 6K can also be used independently to enable a variety of different camera setups.

The side plate supports quick switching between horizontal and vertical configurations, as it can be used as a base plate in vertical mounting and provides ample space between the rods and the lens for most accessories. In this vertical configuration, the base plate is equipped with specially positioned threads to align the base plate with the optical center of the lens.

The side plate can also accommodate SSD drives with a width of 52 mm to 60 mm and a thickness of less than 12 mm. Additionally, there are multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for various accessories.
