This mount is attached to the front of the Tilta Half Cage for the Sony a7R V and supports the Metabones PL to E Mount T-Cine lens adapter as well as other adapters with similar mounting points.

This provides an additional contact point between the cage and the lens adapter, creating a more secure connection. The dual mounting screws on both the camera and the adapter prevent the mount from twisting and ensure an incredibly secure attachment.

This minimizes unwanted lens shifts that could be caused by a follow focus system and limits the strain on the lens mount of your camera body.
