Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box, Base Kit

The next generation of matte boxes is here: the Tilta Mirage Pro.

Meticulously crafted, the Mirage Pro is a clamp-on matte box designed for various lens sizes. It accommodates lenses with an outer diameter of 95 mm, 110 mm, 114 mm, and 136 mm, as well as photo lenses with the following filter thread adapters: 67 mm, 72 mm, 77 mm, and 82 mm. Additional adapters are available as accessories.

Equipped with rod adapters for 15 mm LWS rods, the Mirage Pro easily integrates into existing setups and can be combined with the optional swing-away adapter for quick lens changes.

The Mirage Pro features traditional filter trays compatible with 4×5.6 filters, ensuring easy handling for the desired visual aesthetic. With the included top flag and optional bottom and side flags, the Mirage Pro can block flares even in the most challenging lighting conditions.

The housing boasts a unique magnetic clip-on design, allowing for easy removal of the front hood to reduce the weight of the matte box while keeping all three filters in place. This lighter weight makes it a valuable option when the system is used on a gimbal or other weight-sensitive support systems.
