Tilta MB-T15

The Mini Matte Box from Tilta is a lightweight and practical solution for filmmakers using DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Weighing only 140 g, this matte box is perfectly suited for this purpose.

By using a matte box, stray light in the lens is avoided, providing additional protection for the lens, and the included French Flag helps minimize unwanted light reflections. Additional 1/4'' and 3/8'' connections on the top of the matte box allow for the attachment of accessories, such as small LED lights or microphones. The kit also includes a 15 mm rod for mounting the Mini Matte Box onto a rig, which can provide extra protection for the lens if needed.

The Mini Matte Box allows for the attachment of two different types of filters. Standard 4 × 5.65 filters can be slid in from the front. Additionally, screw filters can be attached via the internal thread using the included adapter rings. The adapter ring is first attached to the lens, and then the Mini Matte Box is secured to the adapter ring.
